About Krafttak for Gaza

Krafttak for Gaza was founded in 2008 to raise money for the prosthetics workshop in Gaza, the Artificial Limb and Polio Centre (ALPC). That is still the only thing we do. We have no paid staff, all work is voluntary, and every krone raised goes to the workshop. The organisation is based in Tromsø, Norway, receives contributions from across the country, and is supported by the City of Tromsø.

Israel's war and genocide in Gaza have multiplied the need for the prosthetics workshop, while its premises were damaged and operations had to move to temporary facilities. The work continues regardless.

Krafttak for Gaza supports that work and transferred around NOK 185,000 over the course of the summer of 2026.
